Job Title: Loading Coordinator

Summary
The Loading Co-Ordinator reports directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for booking in raw materials, booking out finished products, and completing associated administrative tasks. The role also supports the loading of bulk and bagged vehicles to help ensure drivers can start their day efficiently.
The role is responsible for converting the logistics plan into an efficient mill production plan, ensuring the required product is delivered to the customer on time and in full. It also supports the daily execution of deliveries against plan, working alongside the planning team to remove inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the efficient operation of the weighbridge and SAP business system, maintaining accurate and specific records.
- Book goods in and out, both automatically and manually, as required.
- Complete Material Supplier Deficiency reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Complete daily declarations.
- Complete all required administration tasks.
- Manage the site sampling system.
- Monitor stockholding performance and work towards achieving the company’s target days.
- Communicate with the mill and other teams on cross-functional issues.
- Meet all company and external legislative requirements, including health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Maintain effective communication between the administration team and other departments, both on and off site, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs.
- Liaise with all supply chain functions to support efficient business operations.
- Support inventory control through daily monitoring of stock movements.
- Maintain accurate data within SAP and appropriate paper records relating to inventory management and procurement.
- Work safely with regard to oneself and others, and represent the planning team in matters relating to health and safety.
- Promote a safety-first culture on site and ensure all company rules and statutory requirements are followed.
- Assist with the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), Energy Management System (ISO 50001), and site PPC requirements.
- Follow established quality procedures to ensure compliance with the UFAS Code of Practice for the safe manufacture and delivery of feed, including adherence to HACCP protocols relevant to the role.

- Good working knowledge of company management systems.
- Valid driving licence.
- Good level of literacy and numeracy, with the ability to interpret quality and production data.
- Previous administration experience.

- Self-motivated and able to work proactively.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong team player.
- Able to work well under pressure while maintaining a methodical approach.
Desirable:
- First Aid trained.
- FLT licence.
- Knowledge of the animal feed sector.
- Manufacturing or logistics background.
