About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Operations Manager to lead the implementation of a new legal technology platform. The role is delivery-focused: ensuring successful system rollout, data migration, and user adoption across the business within a defined 6 month period. 

Key Responsibilities

Platform Implementation (initial phase)

  • Lead project management of the new legal tech platform rollout.
  • Coordinate with the vendor, IT, procurement, and the legal team to deliver successful implementation.
  • Oversee data migration, workflow design, template automation, and reporting setup.
  • Train and onboard legal team members, driving adoption and embedding best practice.
  • Deliver training and onboarding sessions to wider business.
  • Provide weekly progress updates to the General Counsel and stakeholders.

Longer-Term Legal Ops Responsibilities

  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks for the legal function.
  • Identify and execute process improvements across contracting, matter management, and risk/compliance workflows.
  • Manage vendor relationships and future legal tech enhancements.
  • Act as a business partner to the GC and senior leadership, providing operational insight and data-led recommendations.
  • Drive efficiency initiatives, knowledge management, and scalable processes as the company grows.
  • Troubleshoot adoption challenges and optimise workflows during rollout.
Skills and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience required in transition management and/or project management
  • Strong track record in implementing legal technology platforms.
  • Experience in legal operations within an in-house environment.
  • Skilled project manager, with change management and adoption expertise.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Strategic mindset: able to deliver both immediate transformation and longer-term operational improvements.
