About the role

We are looking for a legal administration and legal operations paralegal to join our high performing Group Legal Team on a permanent basis. The role will be UK-based, but will support our global business. It is a highly visible role and so offers excellent exposure to a number of departments within the company as well as strong growth and development opportunities.

As a member of Zepz’s Group Legal team you will aim high, embrace challenge and always do what’s right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company’s technical direction and long term decision making.

Reporting to a senior member of the Legal team, you will:

  • Be the the primary point of contact or escalation for all NDA requests;
  • Support on company secretarial activities e.g. preparing Board packs, assisting in the delivery of our entity management portfolio, monitoring of our shared company secretariat inbox;
  • Support on data privacy work e.g. support the automation of data privacy impact assessments;
  • Delivery of moving data points for each of our contracts into our contract management system;
  • Provide support in areas such as raising purchase order , budget management and other related administrative tasks; 
  • Provide first and final reviews of commercial contracts and support on negotiations (e.g. SaaS, recruitment agreements, marketing services agreements), with appropriate supervision;
  • Lead on legal operation projects including automation of processes, assignment of matters to our team of in-house lawyers, updates and changes to existing technology platforms, rule writing; policy writing and implementation;
  • Assist with brand protection work; and
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks to support the overall legal function.

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Experience in developing and implementing workflows and process flows on a variety of technology platforms, including platforms similar to Jira/Atlassian, Ironclad and DocuSign, is essential.
  • Recent experience working with businesses in the Payments / Financial Services sector is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous legal experience obtained through study or previous work experience is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise different workstreams in line with the needs of the Legal Team and wider business.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: ability to build and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, but also a team player: fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration across different teams and departments.
