About the Role

At TravelPerk, our people-first values are the foundation of our success. We believe empowered teams drive our future—and our managers are at the core of that journey. That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a Learning & Development Partner to lead manager development. In this newly created role, you’ll design innovative learning initiatives that have a lasting leadership impact across the company. You'll adopt a "people-as-a-product" approach, where learning experiences are built, tested, and refined like our products.

From in-person practice labs, roundtables to virtual workshops, your goal will be to create transformative leadership programmes that blend human-centred design with real-world application. If you’re excited about owning initiatives, building a strong manager community, and driving high-impact leadership development, we’d love to meet you!

Your Main Focus

  • Manager Development: Design and deliver innovative programmes—workshops, practice labs and initiatives that enhance leadership skills.
  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a key thought partner to senior leaders, ensuring learning initiatives align with company goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with business leaders to ensure seamless programme execution.
  • Take Charge: Lead projects from concept to delivery, proposing creative solutions and maintaining attention to detail at every stage.
  • Innovate & Iterate: Continuously improve internal learning content, ensuring it’s practical and impactful.
  • Cross-functional Leadership Development: Build leadership skills that resonate across teams—focusing on human-centric growth rather than function-specific expertise.
  • Be Bold: Ruthlessly prioritise high-impact initiatives, experiment with fresh ideas, and refine what works.
  • Manager Community: Foster spaces where managers can step back from day-to-day tasks to engage in meaningful growth and reflection.
  • Travel: Facilitate both in-person and virtual workshops, with travel to our hubs in the UK, US, and beyond.

Who You Are

  • You’re passionate about manager development, with experience in designing and delivering high-impact learning experiences in a fast-paced, tech-driven scale-up environment.
  • You thrive on autonomy and love taking ownership of your work.
  • A natural relationship-builder, you can connect with everyone—from junior managers to senior executives.
  • You’re both strategic and practical, with the ability to create proposals that offer clear, actionable recommendations.
  • You’re ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the details—from planning through to execution and communication.
  • You have a first-principles mindset, always questioning and experimenting to find innovative learning solutions.
  • You’re a skilled facilitator, confident in both online and in-person settings, delivering engaging and impactful sessions.
  • You prioritise leadership growth over process-heavy training, focusing on skills that make a real difference across teams.
  • You’re excited to support broader L&D initiatives, while keeping your focus firmly on manager enablement.

Our Vision is for a world where TravelPerk is the platform for human connection in real life (IRL). We take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in person 3 days a week. As such, this role requires you to be within commuting distance of our Barcelona HQ. We fundamentally believe in meeting in real life to improve connectivity, productivity, and creativity, ultimately making us a great workplace.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
