The Role:

We are seeking a lead product manager to join our experienced team developing Neo4j's scalability features in the EMEA region, specifically in Sweden, the UK (England), Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and The Netherlands.

This role is an opportunity to evolve a product that users love in a rapidly growing space and one of the most impactful categories in data, databases, and GenAI. Neo4j is the industry-leading graph database, enabling customers to uncover valuable insights and relationships within complex and interconnected data. As the market and technology leader, Neo4j is pushing the scale and performance limits for graph databases.
As a Lead Product Manager for Neo4j, you will lead a world-class team working on cutting-edge database technology. 

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in databases and data-intensive applications, specifically for cloud and scale-out architectures and 4+ years as a Product Manager
  • A passion for bringing people together to solve genuinely challenging technology problems at the forefront of technology
  • An understanding of the user journey and buyer's journey and getting to the root cause of a need as inspiration for evolving the product vision
  • Experience with a variety of product management processes and opinions about which work and don't work
  • Real-world experience with scale-out processes, databases, database scalability, and database tooling
  • Familiarity with IT trends and the data and database landscape
  • Effective communication, with experience working across multiple time zones

What You'll Do:

  • Contribute to evolving and defining the product roadmap and vision for Neo4j, specifically related to cloud scalability and availability. Including database performance for large data volume, evaluation of highly concurrent complex queries, scale-out strategies, and orchestration
  • Work closely with VP of Product Management for the Neo4j Database and Chief Product Officer to evolve the product roadmap and vision for Neo4j
  • Work with other PMs to create a unified best-in-class experience across all end-user roles.
  • Help Engineering to understand the overall vision, priorities, user requirements, and business rationale underlying the roadmap 
  • Understand market directions, working closely with customers to understand their needs.
  • Measure & assess the progress of the product scalability with respect to goals and vision
  • Work with user-facing areas inside of the company, including product marketing, developer relations, sales, and field engineering, to build a better product and a better understanding of the product
