What You'll Do
Responsible for providing analytical support on the DCI Settlement system balancing and configuration processes. Duties and responsibilities include supporting high profile prioritized projects on the DCI Core Applications and managing the defect/enhancements on the User Interface. Provide database analysis to support Settlement problem determination, resolution of imbalances and servicing client inquiries.
Responsible for expanding operational knowledge and understanding, within the International Settlement Support team, of Core Applications, including, Authorizations, Settlement, Pricing and Fees.
We are looking for an enquiring, passionate, and collaborative individual that can help shape the team's knowledge of Discover systems and processes, by championing the coaching and mentoring of the team, to avoid single point of failure.

What You'll Do

We are looking for an enquiring, passionate, and collaborative individual that can help shape the team's knowledge of Discover systems and processes, by championing the coaching and mentoring of the team, to avoid single point of failure.
How You'll Do It
- Complete quality data checks on International Settlement data and client system profiles, identifying risk and control weaknesses.
- Responsible for gathering, structuring and analyzing data from international core applications, reporting errors on settlement processing.
- Provide recommendations to management and process owners on remediation and implement preventative measures on the system, to remove risk and improve effectiveness and efficiency of controls.
- Interact and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, implementing quality control procedures, including system flow, aligned with team processes.
- Works with a dedicated agile development team to deliver customer/business value through defects, product features and system enhancements. Is the conduit to other business partners for support on high priority projects, impacting the Settlement team.
- Become International Settlement Support SME for Core applications. Provide continuous support in all systematic/operational aspects and assist with issue resolution.
- Coach and mentor all team members by planning and executing learnings from system knowledge gained.
- Build a culture of accountability and ownership, by empowering team members to be curious and apply learnings to their day-to-day responsibilities.
- Demonstrate reliability, self-motivation, and a willingness to accept responsibility and accountability.
Qualifications You'll Need
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors Business Administration and Management, Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, or related
- Financial services, Operational, Compliance, Technology or related
In Lieu of Education Experience
- Business Analyst, Customer Service and Relationships, IT or related
- Cross functional knowledge of the Payment Network Industry focusing on operations strongly desirable.
- Strong relationship building skills with multiple internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple parallel projects and issues.
- Client focused approach with the ability to interact across all management levels.
- Desire to embrace change, successfully adapting to changing demands and conditions.
- Promote a risk-aware culture; ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with all levels of employees and management; including managing expectations, communicating issues, risks and opportunities.
