Group Strategic Analytics is part of Group Chief Operation Office (COO) which acts as the bridge between the Bank’s businesses and infrastructure functions to help deliver the efficiency, control, and transformation goals of the Bank.

You will be joining The Kannon Franchise Pricing Strat team which is part of the Group Strategic Analytics function across all asset classes and combines expertise in quantitative analytics, modelling, pricing, and risk management with deep understanding of system architecture and programming. The primary output is a scalable and flexible Front Office pricing and risk management system with consistent interface to both the Middle Office and Back Office.

Your key responsibilities

  • Oversee the modelling, generation and distribution of Market Data used in real time pricing and end-of-day risk and Profit & Loss (PnL) for Deutsche Bank’s Global Markets Rates, Flow Credit, Commodities and Emerging Markets Debt Trading businesses
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of robust control framework around the end-of-day market data capture and usage
  • Work closely together with the Business on building user interfaces (UIs) for the viewing and marking of live and end-of-day market data
  • Support the Build-out of Global Markets strategic analytics platform in partnership with Corporate and Investment Bank Technology
  • Support of Global Markets businesses migration to the single strategic analytics platform

Your skills and experience

  • Excellent programming (coding) skills, utilising programming languages such as C++, Python, SQL
  • UI experience, utilising C++
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams and functions, in addition to excellent presentational skills
  • Ability to multi-task different projects and prioritise against tight deadlines
