Access Worldpay is available across SMB and Enterprise segments, and imminently going live with a Marketplaces proposition.
So it has become crucial to invest further in both the optimization of our API content and presentation as well as the direct online support we give to queries and diagnostics through the Access support community.
What you will be doing
You will create and publish developer facing API documentation hosted on the website above, that enables developers to easily find the right information to facilitate a fast, smooth integration.
You will ensure typical questions and issues have easily accessible troubleshooting content
In order to do this, you will collaborate across product-engineering teams to understand how these technical products work, how they are constantly being enhanced, and how best to explain them
You will use direct feedback from developers and colleagues who support them, to continuously improve how we explain them
You will work with others to look for ways to improve how we do things
You will use GitHub based content repositories of markdown and html, and pipelines to stage, merge and publish your content
Specifically you will:
- Work with product-engineering teams to understand their products, roadmaps and anticipate changes and enhancements
- Design, and build content to support client developers' integrations
- Encourage co-creation but help curate and ensure a consistent tone of voice and style
- Enable changes to be translated where appropriate by our partner
- Seek ways to use tutorials, visuals and articles to appeal to different learning styles
- Mine developer feedback to find areas of improvement in our documentation to prevent the same question being asked again
- Identify and collaborate on new ways to engender a leaner process end to end
What you bring:
•Curiosity and interest in learning about new technical products
•The ability to create and curate salient, relevant and engaging content through strong writing and editorial skills
•Ability to learn new publishing and content management technologies
•Experience of driving incremental improvements in efficiency, quality and effectiveness across areas you have worked
•Agile mindset – the ability to jump between vision, reality, insight, learning and incremental / iterative next steps along with a strong focus on value and results
•Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and across organizational boundaries
