The impact of the role:
The Java Software Engineer will be a critical team member of the Application Chapter responsible for delivering innovative solutions within the smart mobility ecosystem.

On a given day, a Java Software Engineer will:
- Contribute in to the design and development of backend services
- Contribute to the requirement analysis and technical design
- Write technical documentation
- Write well designed, testable, efficient software modules
- Participate in code reviews & write functional, unit, and integration tests
- Be a member of a scrum team working with Agile methodologies.
In order to be successful in this role you will need:
- BSc in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Java, Spring Boot
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Engage with colleagues and clients worldwide, thus fluency in English is a must.
- Collaborate closely with your team to explore new possibilities and develop innovative solutions.
- Embrace new technologies and practices, following an out of the box approach to keep us at the forefront of the industry.
