Job Summary

The IT Project Manager leads the end-to-end delivery of strategic IT projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality and governance standards.

The role applies Group IT project management methodologies, provides proactive leadership, manages stakeholders and vendors, mitigates risks, and drives successful outcomes across cross-functional initiatives.

Main duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver assigned programs and projects within approved time, cost, and quality constraints, ensuring effective performance management of internal teams and external suppliers.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, budgets, forecasts, schedules, resource plans, risks, issues, and change controls, enabling effective governance and reporting to stakeholders and steering committees.

  • Establish and apply structured methods to identify, manage, and maintain critical project data and documentation.

  • Manage interdependencies across project and program workstreams to ensure integrated and aligned delivery.

  • Partner with senior business stakeholders to capture requirements, align expectations, and secure commitment to project objectives.

  • Drive robust risk and issue management processes, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation where required.

  • Build, lead, and motivate cross-functional project teams to maximize performance and successful outcomes.

  • Own and execute project and program improvement or remediation plans where required.

  • Implement effective communication strategies to manage stakeholder expectations and ensure transparency across governance forums.

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise-wide IT portfolio, program, and project management methodologies, tools, governance standards, and metrics.

  • Coordinate with Group IT functions to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, operating models, and overall IT strategy; provide guidance on IT-HR architecture and standardization where relevant.

  • Establish and manage vendor relationships, including third-party packaged software providers, and oversee procurement of required resources to meet business needs.

  • Facilitate effective service transition and controlled handover into support and maintenance.

  • Ensure expected benefits are clearly defined, tracked, and realized in line with approved business cases.

  • Act as a point of resolution for resource conflicts, competing priorities, or cross-functional challenges within the program.

  • Provide regular, accurate reporting on progress toward program and project deliverables.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Project Management, delivering projects end-to-end.

  • At least 3 years of experience leading Data & Analytics initiatives within complex, multi-site, or operational environments.

  • Demonstrated experience working with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams in matrix organizations.

Data & Analytics Expertise

  • Strong understanding of data architecture concepts, including data warehouses, data lakes, and modern analytics platforms.

  • Experience with data integration processes (ETL/ELT), data quality management, and master data management principles.

  • Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools.

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Microsoft Azure) is preferred.
