Essential Duties

  • IT Financial Management:
  • Responsible for handling the following duties in support of IT Finance at GAF including:
  • Oversight and guidance in the preparation of monthly reconciliation and updating of IT Expense accounts
  • Working with IT leadership team in preparation for monthly reviews
  • Reviewing expense items that need to be re-classed to proper accounts
  • Reviewing monthly journal entries
  • Lead Year end accrual efforts
  • Lead process improvement efforts
  • Conduct these activities while ensuring that internal and external standards are being met
  • Work on process efficiency and improvement of the monthly close activities
  • Project Financials – Establish regular review of project financial reporting; reviewing estimated and actual cost information, providing guidance to Delivery Managers with tracking of project expenditures and forecasting and preparing summary reports.
  • Analyzing spend and cause of variances. Detailed analysis of spending to identify opportunities for savings.
  • Support IT contracting needs through execution of docusign and purchase requisition requests; Creating purchase requisitions - gathering the appropriate information and tracking all requests. Providing guidance to IT team members on execution of the P2P process.
  • Lead role in the Annual Budget process – developing analysis, preparing budget estimates, and finalizing budgets for IT leadership approval.
  • Review and analysis of monthly ad-hoc financial reporting and special analytical projects as assigned.
  • Facilitating monthly IT Financial reviews
  • Research industry best practices for IT Cost Optimization.
  • Planning, facilitating, and driving IT Financial Management activities. Creating, Documenting processes, assisting IT resources with navigating the financial processes and procedures. Defining and producing Metrics and Reports covering various aspects of IT Finances and all other related IT Financial Management duties. Monthly account reconciliations and monthly financial reviews.

Under This Roof We Require

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required Required
  • 3+ years of experience Required
  • Excellent computer skills/Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/GoogleSheets

  • Good knowledge of GAF Systems, Applications, & Technologies
