Flywire is searching for an IT Audit Lead who's ready to revolutionise our technology risk landscape! Reporting directly to the VP of Internal Audit, this is your chance to be at the forefront of risk innovation in a rapidly expanding global fintech organisation!
YOUR MISSION-CRITICAL IMPACT:
As our IT Audit Lead, you'll be the driving force behind our technology risk management strategy, forging powerful relationships across our worldwide operations. You'll take command of IT audits and SOX compliance, delivering game-changing insights directly to senior leadership and the Audit Committee!
YOUR STRATEGIC BATTLEGROUND:
🔥 Spearhead IT Audit Excellence - Design and execute sophisticated technical risk assessments, specialised IT audits, and advanced data analytics. Master system flowcharts, risk matrices, and test plans that deliver actionable recommendations.
🔥 Command the IT SOX Fortress - Execute comprehensive walkthroughs and rigorous testing of ITGCs, ITACs, SDLCs, SOC1s, and critical reports. Identify control vulnerabilities and design weaknesses, collaborating on strategic remediation solutions.
🔥 Lead the AI Audit Revolution - Pioneer our transformation through cutting-edge automation and AI solutions. Develop breakthrough approaches that supercharge efficiency, expand coverage, and extract deeper insights from audit data.
🔥 Communicate with Executive Impact - Deliver crystal-clear reports and compelling presentations customised for diverse stakeholders from technical teams to the Audit Committee.
🔥 Optimise External Resources - Strategically manage third-party IT consultants while serving as our champion with external auditors and regulators.
🔥 Drive Continuous Innovation - Transform our internal audit function through automation, policy advancement, and metrics that showcase our strategic value.
🔥 Build a Fortress of Risk Culture - Create and deliver powerful training that strengthens Flywire's risk management environment.
Qualifications
THE IDEAL RISK COMMANDER:
⚡ Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent field
⚡ Approximately 8 years battling in IT internal audits and IT SOX compliance
⚡ Around 3 years forged in public accounting
⚡ Battle-tested experience in agile platform IT organisations
⚡ Mastery of frameworks including SOX, COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO, ITIL and IIA
⚡ Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, CISSA or equivalent
⚡ Burning intellectual curiosity about AI applications in audit and risk management - you'll lead the charge implementing next-generation audit technologies
⚡ Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and project management prowess
