Job Title: Corporate Communications Manager
Overview:
The Communications Manager will play a key role in supporting PerkinElmer’s global corporate communications initiatives, focusing approximately 70% of their time on Internal Communications, and 30% on external communications, as well as coordinating the content roadmap and driving the Corporate Comms PMO. Based in the UK, this generalist role reports to the VP of Corporate Communications & Sustainability and supports a wide range of communication efforts across internal and external audiences. With a strong emphasis on engagement initiatives and content management, the Corporate Communications Manager will collaborate extensively with the marketing team to ensure consistent and impactful messaging aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of global communication strategies and programs that advance corporate objectives.
- Manage content creation, curation, and distribution across corporate channels including intranet, newsletters, email campaigns, and external platforms (strong involvement in the Digital Impact SteerCo).
- Work closely with marketing to align messaging, branding, and campaigns for consistency and amplify reach through digital channels and media.
- Coordinate cross-functional communications projects with internal stakeholders such as HR, legal, product teams, and executive leadership as needed.
- Assist in drafting key corporate communications materials.
- Monitor communication effectiveness using analytics and feedback, recommending adjustments to enhance impact.
- Maintain and update the corporate communications editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of content.
- Contribute to fostering a consistent, transparent, and engaging employee and external stakeholder experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience in internal communications, marketing communications, or a similar corporate communications generalist role in a global environment.
- Strong (mother tongue level) English writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft clear and compelling messages for diverse audiences.
- Experience with content management systems, workflow tools, and SharePoint environment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results oriented, and agile organization requiring collaboration across multiple departments.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative mindset with ability to build relationships effectively across teams.
