This position is based in Guatemala City, Guatemala for our Nutrition Division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. As the Institutional Access Executive is responsible for Plan, structure, coordinate, and implement actions that enable market access for the portfolio, such as pricing strategy and strategic and tactical access plans for all Abbott Nutrition brands to achieve channel sales plan. Additionally, promote and lead the implementation of strategies and products that include concepts, tools, or methods to develop comprehensive solutions aimed at achieving the best health outcomes and, consequently, improving patients' quality of life. Manages specialized products and the relationship with KOLs and Health Care Professionals and decision makers within the scope of government or private insurance, in line with internal guidelines.
What You’ll Do
Creates an integrated access account strategy that leverages omnichannel activities to maximize opportunities (leverage strengths) while mitigating threats (minimizing weaknesses) in the context of territory/area goals.
Leverages segmentation data, digital and market insights and healthcare trends to prioritize customers/accounts and drive maximum value throughout the territory/area.
Develops an integrated territory/area market access strategy based on account performance and potential, incorporating omnichannel engagement activities and success measures to demonstrate the impact of access strategies and programs.
Synthesize and interpret scientific information produced by multifunctional teams to identify and analyze trends or changes in health systems that influence access strategies.
Builds and maintains strategic relationships to promote discussion with key external stakeholders at all levels of each account throughout the territory/area to execute on strategic access account activities.
Create, develop, and customize value propositions with the best clinical and economic support and evidence, ensuring access and reimbursement of portfolio products, as well as their inclusion in reimbursement lists, institutional formularies, and guidelines.
Analyzes and integrates market insight, competitor information and other data to select strategic activities and conduct quarterly business reviews with major accounts by country, with the aim of monitoring the plans and expectations of each account.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacist or Nutritionist. (Licentiate / Graduated).
Health economics knowledge.
Administrative Contracting knowledge (Desirable tender and administrative process knowledge).
3-5 years of experience Institutional sales (experience in a Demand generation role).
Proven experience in managing Key accounts (public and private) as well as KOLs to achieve inclusion, consolidation, and recovery processes (Access process) of products (Verifiable with executed projects).
Ability to communicate (public presentation) to internal and external audiences (scientific content, value proposition and projects).
Proficiency in tools for business analysis and tracking (Excel).
Language: English: medium level

Travel: this position could require traveling approximately 25% of the time within the country/territory assigned
Field work: 75% of field work versus 25% of required office work.
