Job DescriptionWe are seeking a creative and inquisitive analyst to help uncover opportunities and trends in hospital spend data, to drive and develop insights for our 130+ NHS customers.
You will need to engage with our customers, proactively sharing new opportunities and providing them with new views of their data and help promote our service/offering.
To be successful in this role you need to be curious, analytical and thrive off working out what is required to deliver an output that will help the NHS to save money. It requires someone who is confident and motivated by data, someone who enjoys solving problems and is invested in helping the NHS.
Candidates who have worked with large, complex datasets, specifically in procurement or health, are preferred.
This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, with remote or distributed teams, in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
Data analytics and core insights output
- Develop bespoke customer analytics reports and define the narrative behind the analysis
- Demonstrate clear understanding of customer requirements, whilst identifying additional supporting information to improve the quality and benefit of the insights (outputs)
Insight development
- Support the development of new client analysis
- Lead on the cleansing and improvement of existing category areas
- Create team process documents to explain our outputs to others
- Take existing outputs and work with other teams to automate
- Show an interest in clinical category areas and take the time to research and understand them
Customer engagement and relationship management
- Respond to customer issues/needs as they arise through effective triaging and prioritisation of Insight requests
- Organise and participate in customer meetings to understand requirements and feedback around outputs
- Present outputs to customers and participate in customer review meetings
- Works with the external marketing team to assist in the writing and copywriting of newsletters and sales materials.
We would expect strong candidates to have the following:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role with a good understanding of data and have worked with large, complex data sets
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent client/customer engagement and relationship management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of creating analysis/outputs for clients and can confidently present these to clients
- Strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams
