The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT & Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will design, implement, secure, and maintain cloud environments. This role requires deep knowledge of networking, multi-cloud integrations, system reliability, and infrastructure security, with a focus on delivering high availability, scalability, and low-latency performance. Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus but not mandatory. Strong cloud infrastructure expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP) and adaptability are the primary requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud & Infrastructure Management
- Design, configure, and maintain cloud and hybrid infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, load balancing, databases, etc.).
- Ensure availability by building redundancy, failover, and fault-tolerant architectures.
- Support scalability for growing traffic and users across multiple regions.
- System Maintenance & Reliability
- Maintain systems for consistent reliability in 24/7 production environments.
- Apply regular patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management while ensuring maintainability.
- Enhance resilience with disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability strategies.
- Networking & Connectivity
- Manage and troubleshoot global networking: routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, CDN, and inter-cloud connections.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance (low latency, high throughput), critical for gaming workloads.
- Provide flexibility/agility in connectivity to adapt quickly to new partners, suppliers, or integrations.
- Security & Compliance
- Implement security best practices across multi-cloud environments.
- Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and remediation.
- Ensure compliance with iGaming regulations and industry standards (ISO 27001:2022).
- DevOps & Supplier Collaboration
- Collaborate with DevOps teams and third-party suppliers to align infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
- Enhance observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting to detect and diagnose issues early.
- Cross-Department Support
- Act as the point of contact for infrastructure requests across Development, BI, Operations, and other departments.
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and resilient technical solutions.
- Incident & Problem Management
- Lead troubleshooting and serve as an escalation point for infrastructure/network incidents.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive actions to strengthen long-term reliability.
Requirements:
- Mandatory
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong networking knowledge (VPCs/VCNs, subnets, routing, DNS, VPNs, load balancers, IPSec connectivity).
- Solid experience with infrastructure security best practices.
- Track record of maintaining and troubleshooting production systems.
- Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Hands-on OCI experience (compute, networking, OKE).
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.
