As an immersion specialist, you will be part of the team responsible for raising the concrete caissons, transporting them from the temporary storage location to the offshore site and finally positioning the elements correctly on the seabed. In a first phase you will participate in the preparation of this crucial operation. In a second phase, you will be part of the operational team that carries out the immersion activities.Your responsibilities

You will be a part of the Transport & Immersion team and will work on the preparations of the offshore installation of the concrete caissons

You make up work plans that describe the operations in detail

You define the outfitting on the caissons, necessary for immersion and ballasting and coordinate with the designers

You assist in drawing up schedules and purchasing packages

You are closely involved in the development of survey techniques

You coordinate activities with external parties such as the Marine Warranty Surveyor and the relevant port authorities

In the implementation phase you are operationally involved in the operations
Your profile

You are a qualified civil or industrial engineer

You have prior experience with immersion of large structures or offshore lifting operations

You are a hands-on problem solver, not afraid of taking decisions

You are a team player with strong communication skills

You are fluent in English. All other languages (such as Dutch) are considered an asset
