This is a vital role within the Risk Management function - a dynamic, newly created team within Takeda Business Solutions. We are dedicated to identifying and mitigating risks to ensure seamless and secure operations, enabling Takeda to develop and deliver innovative medicines to our patients.

As a Third Party Risk Management Analyst (Human Rights) you will support internal and external risk-related projects and monitor potential threats to safeguard our operations. Reporting to the Source to Pay Risk and Fraud Lead, you will be an innovative, trusted partner to the business, our suppliers, and auditors.

Responsibilites:

  • Conduct human rights-focused due diligence on third-party suppliers and partners in alignment with Third Party Risk Management framework and based on the global human rights due diligence methodology defined by Ethics and Compliance
  • Conduct due diligence for high-risk third-party engagements in and ensure thorough assessment of potential human rights risks
  • Monitor compliance with global regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Establish, monitor, and follow up on internal tool to address identified human rights risks.
  • rack progress and provide regular updates to ensure effective resolution of issues
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal business owners to ensure alignment on human rights principles and the mitigation of potential human rights risks.
  • Act as a key liaison to communicate findings, deliver recommendations, and address escalated concerns.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Rights, social sciences, law, or a related field.
  • 2-5 yrs experience working in third-party risk management, human rights due diligence, ethical trade or responsible sourcing.
  • Demonstrably strong influencing and stakeholders' engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of human rights risks in global supply chains and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Third Party Risk Management platforms (e.g., APEX) and their application in managing escalated cases is a plus.
