The Role:
The HRIS Lead will be responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role ensures the efficient operation, data integrity, and security of the HRIS, as well as providing strategic support and analysis to enhance People processes and decision-making. The HRIS Lead will work closely with People leaders, the Business Systems team, and other departments to implement, upgrade, and optimise HRIS solutions.
We are seeking a highly skilled HRIS Lead with a primary focus on Workday HCM, along with additional support and oversight responsibilities across all our HR tools, including Greenhouse, Zendesk, Betterworks, and Peakon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of the HRIS suite, ensuring its availability, reliability, and performance.
- Create and maintain user guides, documentation, and training materials to ensure users are competent and confident with the systems.
- Act as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related issues and troubleshooting for the People team.
- Working closely with People Project Leads to ensure system elements of projects are delivered effectively.
- Keep up to date with Product Launches and recommend updates to implement.
- Lead on system development and improvements research and proposals.
- Lead on the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes.
- Conduct thorough testing for system changes, enhancements, and new implementations.
- Collaborate with HR and technical teams to identify opportunities for system improvements.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Provide training and support to HR team members on new features and updates.
Workday HCM Focus:
- Lead the configuration and maintenance of Workday HCM modules.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest product launches and updates for Workday HCM.
- Manage system updates and new feature implementations within Workday HCM.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the Workday HCM system.
- Support integrations with Workday HCM and other tools used across the business.
- Develop reports for HR and other departments.
Business Guidance and Roadmaps:
- Offer strategic guidance and advice on the development and implementation of HRIS roadmaps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align system capabilities with business needs.
- Analyse and recommend best practices for leveraging HRIS to achieve business objectives.
