The Role

The HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, aligning people strategy with business priorities while supporting the growth and development of DayOne’s teams in Spain.

This role combines strategic HR partnership with hands-on execution, supporting workforce planning, leadership capability, employee relations and organisational development in a fast-growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to support organisational growth, workforce planning and team development.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers on leadership, performance management and employee relations matters.

  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition to support hiring plans and onboarding of new employees.

  • Support organisational design and capability development as teams scale.

  • Champion DayOne’s culture and help build an engaged, high-performing workplace.

  • Ensure HR practices comply with Spanish labour law and company policies.

  • Support implementation of global HR programs and initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • 6-10 years of HR experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role.

  • Strong knowledge of Spanish labour law.

  • Experience partnering with business leaders in fast-growing international organisations.   

  • Strong employee relations and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience working with an HR Information system, preferably Workday.

  • Experience supporting full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

  • A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and work collaboratively across teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
