The Role
The HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, aligning people strategy with business priorities while supporting the growth and development of DayOne’s teams in Spain.
This role combines strategic HR partnership with hands-on execution, supporting workforce planning, leadership capability, employee relations and organisational development in a fast-growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business leaders to support organisational growth, workforce planning and team development.
Act as a trusted advisor to managers on leadership, performance management and employee relations matters.
Work closely with Talent Acquisition to support hiring plans and onboarding of new employees.
Support organisational design and capability development as teams scale.
Champion DayOne’s culture and help build an engaged, high-performing workplace.
Ensure HR practices comply with Spanish labour law and company policies.
Support implementation of global HR programs and initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
6-10 years of HR experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role.
Strong knowledge of Spanish labour law.
Experience partnering with business leaders in fast-growing international organisations.
Strong employee relations and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with an HR Information system, preferably Workday.
Experience supporting full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and work collaboratively across teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
