Job Description

This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working.

As the UK’s largest fibre-only network, and its only proven wholesale challenger, we’re busy setting new standards for what digital infrastructure can and should be.

Designed from scratch for the internet, our network is greener, more reliable and ready for the future. The products we provide over it not only lead the market on speed, value and service, they help businesses to innovate, provide entire communities with a better foundation for their digital lives and support economic growth, locally and nationally.

What does that mean for you? The opportunity to make internet connections (and daily life) a whole lot better, for a lot of people!

Joining us as a HR Business Partner

You will play a key role in delivering people strategies, leading employee relations, and supporting organisational change across our business.

You’ll receive a salary of up to £60,000p/a, a car allowance, a performance related bonus, and a range of benefits to support you across your financial, physical and mental wellbeing.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Partnering with senior leaders to deliver strategic HR solutions aligned with business goals
  • Leading complex employee relations cases, restructures, and organisational change initiatives
  • Coaching and supporting managers to build high-performing teams
  • Using data and insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
  • Championing our culture and values, promoting engagement and inclusion

What you’ll bring to the role

You will be a confident HR professional with a solid HR background and a passion for delivering people solutions that align with business priorities. You’ll also have:

  • Proven experience in a similar HRBP role
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Experience working in fast-paced, complex organisations with structured HR governance
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work closely with wider HR teams
  • A flexible, solutions-focused approach with a continuous improvement mindset
  • CIPD Level 5

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
