About the Role:
As a Solution Engineering Strategy & Operations Manager, you will be a critical partner to our SE leadership, driving strategic initiatives, optimizing business operations, and ensuring the seamless execution of our go-to-market strategy. This role is a blend of strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and operational excellence, requiring you to navigate complex challenges and deliver impactful solutions. You will be instrumental in enabling our Solution Engineering team to achieve and exceed its goals, directly contributing to our company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Go-To-Market Execution:

    • Lead the design and implementation of the annual go-to-market plan, encompassing resource allocation, territory optimization, compensation strategy, and organizational design.

    • Conduct in-depth market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.

    • Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure the effectiveness of go-to-market initiatives.
       

  • Business Operations & Performance Management:

    • Establish and maintain a robust operational cadence for the executive leadership team, including regular business reviews and performance reporting.

    • Analyze and interpret sales data, pipeline metrics, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.

    • Develop and deliver insightful executive presentations, providing actionable recommendations for strategic decision-making.

    • Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Einstein Analytics) to create compelling dashboards and reports.
       

  • Project Management & Process Improvement:

    • Manage a portfolio of strategic projects, driving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, improve data quality, and accelerate pipeline growth.

    • Identify and troubleshoot operational bottlenecks, proposing and implementing process improvements and system enhancements.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing, Employee Success, etc.) to drive transformational projects and ensure alignment across the organization.

    • Manage ad hoc requests from leadership with professionalism and efficiency.
       

  • Data Analysis & Reporting:

    • Leverage Salesforce platform data and other sources to provide deep business insights.

    • Become a trusted source of data for the SE leadership team.
       

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, Pre-Sales, Business Operations, Sales Strategy, or a related field.

  • Proven track record of success in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably within a SaaS or subscription-based business.

  • Strong understanding of presales methodologies and the sales cycle.

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex problems and develop data-driven solutions.

  • Expert proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, Einstein Analytics, SQL).

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite.

  • Fluency in English is required, and fluency in an additional European language is highly desirable.

  • Experience with Salesforce products is a strong plus.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and related applications.

  • Knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices.

  • Experience in territory planning and optimization.
