The Opportunity

Landmark Valuation Services (LVS) owns and manages a key technology platform that enables the management, instruction and transmission of property data between lenders, surveyors and other third parties.

The Head of Relationships in LVS will be responsible for all Lender and Surveyor relationships and sales, account management, business development and if appropriate, telesales. They will be highly engaged and influential with many of our key customers and will be responsible for the team of Relationship Managers and Business Development Managers.

You will design and execute a sales and relationship strategy, plans and campaigns to grow new revenue from implementation of new products within our base, as well as retain existing revenues, protect existing revenue from competitors, and deliver growth from existing accounts.

The objective of this role is to grow gross revenue and win market share in line with budgeted gross revenue, net revenue and volume expectations.  Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, identifying and converting commercial opportunities with the top UK mortgage lenders and surveyors, yourself but also via the team. 

In addition, this role will be required to support the Relationship Managers and BDMs in engaging deeply with customers at a detailed level to ascertain their current and future wants and needs, engage them in user research/UX and design and work through the team with Product Management to ensure new technologies and solutions and help front the migrations of customers onto the new platforms.

About You

The Head of Relationships will be positive, motivated, persuasive and well organised and able to demonstrate the ability to sell and lead by example.  You will also be calm, composed and professional with the ability to inspire, innovate and encourage best practice.  You will also be/have:

  • Formal sales methodology/ies knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership skills with a background in coaching high performing teams whilst developing and implementing sales strategy, framework and programmes.
  • Strong commercial focus, with experience of managing targets and budgets.
  • Preferably experience and understanding of the markets that Landmark service.
  • CRM competence – preferably experience of Salesforce.
  • Pragmatic approach to problem solving.
