The Role

Lead our commercial and supplier landscape, driving the evolution of our products through innovative partnerships and strategic opportunities. This position is not centred on traditional sales roles with commission-driven metrics; instead, it focuses on cultivating a network of strategic collaborations and alliances that enrich our product capabilities. You’ll play a crucial part in optimising pricing strategies that harmonise profitability with exceptional customer satisfaction and operational efficiencies.

You will analyse budgets and KPIs across global teams to maximise capabilities across all verticals you will be connecting the business and legal units to enable the smooth, timely negotiation and execution of all third-party B2B supply relationships.

Reporting directly to the General Counsel and managing one direct report, you will oversee our procurement software tools, evaluate expenditures, and enhance purchasing strategies to foster integration and teamwork across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for generating and maintaining positive relationships with third-party suppliers and operators, as well as developing and maturing new income streams across all businesses.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements to deepen the implementation of business strategies according to company goals and objectives, aiming to accelerate growth.
  • Be the conduit between the business units, Legal department, and suppliers to create a deep understanding, clarity, and knowledge of content, products and services. Support Legal, Data Protection and Compliance throughout initial investigations, due diligence, privacy assessments, negotiations, and execution, creating a quick, streamlined intra-departmental process.
  • Work with product owners to map a commercial vision for each product/service and deliver business development support through to execution, release, and reporting.
  • Undertake market research on new targets and market trends in existing and future territories. Keep abreast of major legislative, regulatory, and market-position changes, informing the business of the same.
  • Support the Product teams’ commercial partners in maximising monetisation potential across all products and areas within LiveScore Group.
  • Take ownership for successful brand exposure and promotion at conferences and industry events throughout the year to promote our products and build successful relationships across the sectors.
  • Assist in developing LiveScore Group globally by analysing and making recommendations concerning potential partnerships and strategic growth initiatives across multiple territories and continents.
  • Conduct market research, due diligence, and analysis to create detailed business plans for commercial opportunities (expansion, business development, etc.).
  • Understand the requirements of our existing suppliers to ensure their needs are being met and strong partnerships are being created, grown, and strengthened.
  • Manage and report the commercial aspects of Sport, Casino, Payments, Marketing, Sponsorship, and Compliance for LiveScore Bet and Virgin Bet.
  • Build financial models to analyse and evaluate budgets, KPIs, and potential opportunities across Sport, Casino, Payments, Marketing, Sponsorship, and Compliance over multiple territories.
  • Monitor existing performance under contracts and conduct regular supplier reviews, reporting to the Board on service level compliance.
  • Manage 1 direct report focussed on the Media business vertical.

 Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Understanding of the sports, gambling or media industries, with established relationships in tech
  • Proficiency in mathematics, budgeting, Excel and Tableau skills required
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to see the ‘big picture' and how departments work together more effectively
  • Familiarity and expertise with purchasing systems, procedures. We use Zip software!
