The opportunity
Goodlord is a multi-award-winning UK's Best Workplace on a mission to deliver the best renting experience in the world. We’re searching for a Head of Energy Partnerships, reporting to the Director of Consumer Partnerships, to help us take our Energy proposition to its next phase.
This is a Head of role with a deliberately tight and hands-on remit:
You’ll own a single strategic partnership (OVO Energy)
Lead a small, strong team of three IC's (2 x BDE and 1 x Ops Analyst)
Collaborate closely with Tech to evolve one core product area
Drive a defined P&L and proposition end-to-end
It’s ideal for someone who wants to go deep rather than wide, build long-term relationships, and take full ownership of a focused revenue stream - rather than running a large global organisation or a complex multi-partner ecosystem.
If your sweet spot is impact, ownership and delivery, rather than scale for scale’s sake, this could be a brilliant role for you!
What we need from you:
Strong commercial mindset with proven experience developing and maximising B2B commercial partnerships - working with a major partner, e.g. OVO Energy.
Proven track record of coaching and leading small but high-performing business development teams focused on user growth.
Demonstrated ability to work with Tech/Product teams - shaping requirements, influencing prioritisation, and helping deliver product improvements.
Experience in the residential energy industry.
Solid knowledge and understanding of a P&L sheet.
It would also be great if you have:
A passion for improving the lettings process and making renting easier for all parties
Exceptional knowledge of the end-to-end lettings journey, especially the Move-in and Move-out process.
Supported or influenced a product roadmap
