Ready to make your mark in the world of third-party Oracle Support? Join us as Head of Oracle Services and take the lead in shaping, growing and transforming our global Oracle Services offering.

__________________________________________________________________________________________

About the role:

We're looking for an ambitious and experienced Head of Oracle Services to lead and accelerate the next phase of growth for our Oracle Support and Application Managed Services (AMS) business.

As Head of Oracle Services, you’ll shape how we deliver Oracle services to customers globally, leading talented distributed teams, building trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders, driving service excellence, continuous improvement, and the evolution of our Oracle Services offering.

This is a high-impact opportunity where you'll have the autonomy to make meaningful improvements, influence strategic direction and leave a lasting mark on our Oracle Services organisation. You won’t simply be managing an existing function; you’ll help shape its future.

From service transformation and customer success to people leadership and growth initiatives, your influence will be visible across the business from day one.

This is a 12-month contract opportunity, with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on business needs, performance and mutual fit.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll take ownership of:

  • Global Oracle Support & AMS – leading service delivery across multiple customers and complex Oracle environments
  • Customer Success – becoming a trusted senior partner to customers and ensuring exceptional service experiences
  • People & Leadership – inspiring, developing and growing high-performing Oracle teams globally
  • Service Transformation – identifying opportunities to improve processes, tooling, reporting and ways of working
  • Customer Growth – supporting renewals, upselling, service expansion and new opportunities
  • Sales & Pre-Sales – bringing your Oracle expertise into bids, RFPs, presentations, workshops and customer discovery sessions
  • Strategic Delivery – shaping onboarding, transitions, service models and delivery approaches for new customers.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for more than someone who knows Oracle.

We want a strong Oracle EBS leader, customer advocate and commercial thinker who can connect technology, people and business outcomes, while confidently leading complex support engagements and new customer transitions.

You’ll take ownership of:

  • Strong Oracle EBS experience with a solid understanding of Oracle applications and business processes, ideally across Financials, Supply Chain, HR and Payroll
  • Extensive experience leading Oracle Support and/or Application Managed Services (AMS) teams
  • Proven project management and service delivery experience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and customer commitments from initiation through to successful delivery
  • Strong people management and leadership experience, including developing, mentoring and building high-performing Oracle teams
  • Proven experience managing enterprise customers and complex service delivery environments
  • Experience leading new customer onboarding and transition projects, including taking new clients from initial onboarding through to a structured support and AMS delivery model
  • The ability to develop and manage project plans, transition plans, resource requirements, timelines, milestones and delivery activities for new customer implementations and service transitions
  • Experience managing global or distributed teams and coordinating cross-functional resources to deliver successful customer outcomes
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience supporting bids, proposals, RFPs and pre-sales activities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage with everyone from operational teams to senior executives
  • A strong understanding of ITIL and service management principles
  • The ability to stay calm, decisive and solutions-focused when managing escalations, critical incidents and challenging customer situations
  • A genuine passion for developing people, improving services and creating a high-performance culture
  • A proactive and commercially minded approach, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve customer relationships, expand services and contribute to business growth.

This isn't just another contract assignment. It’s an opportunity to shape, grow and transform a global Oracle Services function. You’ll have the platform to make a real difference to our customers, our people and the future of our Oracle Services business.

If you're ready for a role where you can lead, influence, build and make a difference, we want to hear from you.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
