The Commercial and Investment Bank Chief Analytics Office is responsible for accelerating the Analytics agenda globally across Markets Trading, Sales & Research, Payments, Securities Services, and Global Banking-promoting the integration of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence into business strategies to deliver measurable commercial impact.
The responsibilities of the Chief Analytics Office include advancing both traditional artificial intelligence/machine learning and generative artificial intelligence capabilities, identifying priorities and focusing on high-impact artificial intelligence use cases, setting the Generative AI strategy around Large Language Models and Agentic AI, reusing and scaling AI solutions across lines of business, fostering a culture of innovation and an AI-first mindset among employees.
As the Head of AI Accelerator - Executive Director within the Chief Analytics Office of the Commercial and Investment Bank, you will play a pivotal role in advancing key artificial intelligence initiatives across the organization. You will promote high-priority AI programs, fostering transformative change and ensuring seamless integration of the team into the business for each specialized program. By collaborating closely with subject matter experts and the Analytics and Technology teams, you will deliver comprehensive solutions while adhering to internal policies, laws, and regulations. You will provide regular updates on progress to senior leadership and C-Suite management. Additionally, you will lead the AI Accelerator team in staying abreast of the latest advancements in AI research.

Job responsibilities
- Direct the AI Accelerator team in high-priority AI initiatives, hiring and managing a diverse and talented team, balancing technical excellence with tangible commercial impact.
- Foster a culture of innovation and an AI-first mindset, promoting collaboration and excellence
- Present to Senior Leadership on biggest AI opportunities and progress of the special AI programs
- Conduct thorough analysis of quantitative and qualitative data available to produce clear, actionable insights and recommendations for the business
- Collaborate with in business Analytics and Technology teams for the end-to-end delivery of the AI solutions
- Oversee the development and scaling of AI solutions across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Assimilate information and communicate complex analyses and recommendations effectively to senior executive stakeholders across the organization
- Remain up-to-date with latest progress and breakthrough in the AI community
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Proven ability to lead and inspire high performing team with curiosity, humility and willingness to learn about the CIB businesses working side-by-side with business experts
- Passion for problem solving and innovative (out of the box) thinking
- Ability to learn complex business problem statements and re-formulate in simple terms, and to distill complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Deep expertise in both traditional AI/ML and generative AI
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience or understanding of Financial Services
- Experience in a highly quantitative role, ideally as a data scientist at a growth or research organization
- Deep expertise in statistical analysis, experimental design, and causal inference
- Proficiency in Python, orchestration frameworks, SQL and other analytical tools
