Role Overview:

The Head of Acquisition will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of all customer acquisition efforts across multiple channels (Affiliate, PPC, SEO, Paid Social, and Programmatic) for our portfolio of casino brands. This role requires a high level of strategic thinking combined with deep expertise in performance marketing. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong track record of delivering measurable growth through multi-channel campaigns and a passion for leading cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive acquisition strategies across key performance marketing channels (Affiliate, PPC, SEO, Paid Social, and Programmatic) to drive scalable and sustainable growth for multiple brands in multiple regions.
  • Align acquisition strategies with overall company growth objectives and KPIs, working closely with senior leadership and other departments (e.g., Product, Retention, Data Science).
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform acquisition strategies and optimize campaign performance.

Channel Expertise & Execution:

  • Affiliate Marketing: Lead the affiliate program strategy, including identifying new affiliate partners, optimizing current partnerships, and managing relationships with top affiliates to drive performance.
  • PPC: Oversee the development and optimization of PPC campaigns across Google Ads, , and other paid search platforms to maximize traffic, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • SEO: Lead the SEO strategy for all brands, ensuring top-tier visibility in search engines and driving organic traffic through on-page and off-page optimization.
  • Paid Social: Own the strategy and execution of paid social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, X and other platforms, ensuring the campaigns drive high-quality traffic and engagement.
  • Programmatic: Manage programmatic buying and strategy to ensure the best return on ad spend, focusing on customer acquisition and retention.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing acquisition team, providing guidance and support on channel-specific tactics, campaign optimization, and career growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture, encouraging innovation and data-driven decision-making within the team.
  • Manage and allocate budget effectively across acquisition channels, ensuring spend is optimized for maximum impact and ROI.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Continuously monitor, analyse, and report on the performance of all acquisition channels. Provide actionable insights and make data-driven recommendations to senior management.
  • Use advanced analytics to assess customer cost per acquisition cost (CPA), lifetime value (LTV), and other key metrics to measure and optimise campaign success.
  • Develop and present regular reports on performance, challenges, and growth opportunities for internal stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the Product and Retention teams to ensure alignment between customer acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Work with external creative team to ensure that marketing materials, ads, and landing pages align with brand messaging and conversion goals.
  • Coordinate with Regional teams to ensure localised marketing strategies for key markets, considering cultural nuances and regional regulations.


Key Requirements:

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in performance marketing, with at least 3+ years in a leadership position focused on customer acquisition in the iGaming or casino industry.
  • Proven track record of driving customer acquisition and revenue growth across multiple channels (Affiliate, PPC, SEO, Paid Social, Programmatic).
  • Experience working across multiple regions and markets, with a strong understanding of local market dynamics and regulations.
  • Expertise in managing and optimizing large budgets for customer acquisition campaigns, with a focus on ROI.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong strategic thinker with the ability to design and execute data-driven acquisition strategies.
  • Deep knowledge of performance marketing tools, platforms, and analytics (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, NetRefer, and programmatic buying platforms).
  • Advanced understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to present complex data and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with A/B testing, optimization techniques, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
