📍London OR Remote (UK) | 💰 £57,000 - £70,000 + Benefits | Applications will close at 12pm on Friday 19th September

This is a 12 month fixed term contract (covering caregiver leave)
We’re looking for a results-oriented Paid Search specialist to help us grow our UK business through search and universal app campaigns. You’ll lead a small team and own the channel strategy, reporting and budgeting, campaign planning and partner relationships.

You’ll collaborate with our data team, our marketing engineers, our product marketers, writers, creative teams, external agencies and partners to help us take Monzo into our next phase of growth in the UK and EU.

Your responsibilities:

As a Growth Marketing Manager, you will drive growth through effective paid search and app campaigns and successful new feature launches. You’ll be responsible for the growth and channel management across Google, Microsoft and Apple platforms, driving both demand and conversion optimisation through compelling customer journeys, new channel experimentation, tooling implementation and channel and platform testing with expert industry knowledge.

What You'll Do

  • Own Google Search, Google App and Apple Search ads performance that ladder to the wider performance marketing goals and objectives
  • Develop and grow Microsoft Search into an efficient and incremental to growth channel
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with various platform partners and external collaborators through regular and productive meetings
  • Develop channel strategies with focus on account structure, campaign planning, testing and creative roadmaps
  • Utilise market intelligence tools to deliver actionable data-driven insights across search and app 
  • From the testing roadmap of each channel conduct regular tests, constantly thriving to learn from and improve performance and efficiency
  • Work closely with our data team on improving channel efficiency with innovative test launches, performance analysis, data attribution and collaboration with platform specialists
  • Work closely with brand, product marketers, design and writing to deliver acquisition driving campaigns to power our marketing funnel and support new product and feature launches
  • Experiment with new channel launches and platform Betas to acquire incremental growth for Monzo and thrive for best in class search and app campaigns
  • Lead a small team of Performance Marketing executives specialising in search and app campaigns. Support with focus on channel performance, budget allocation and campaign and creative planning alongside individual development and goal setting
  • Communicate platform updates, industry knowledge and test results across the wider paid and growth marketing teams
  • Support on the EU Paid Marketing launch, collaborating with product marketers, design, writing and data teams to drive growth in a new territory 
  • Present regular updates to senior stakeholders on performance, post-campaign insights and responses to briefs

The Interview Process:

Our interview process involves three main stages:

  1. Recruiter Call (30 mins)
  2. Initial Call (30 mins)
  3. Role Specific & Behavioural Interview via Google Meet (45 mins each)

What’s in it for you:

💰 Salary is £57,000 - £70,000 ➕ stock options 

📍 This role will be based out of our London office next to Liverpool Street station in a hybrid approach of office based and home working or fully remote within the UK
