Job Description

  • Providing support to the Group FP&A manager and wider Financial Performance Management team on operational and financial matters
  • Assisting with the monthly financial reporting process
  • Assisting with the production and consolidation of forecasts, budgets and long-range plans and analysis
  • Assist in the execution of the annual budget process and forecasts
  • Collaborate with Finance and non-finance teams across all of business divisions in various locations, developing progressively strong working relationships
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of financial models & reports to provide insight on business performance and commercial opportunities for growth.
  • Assisting with the improvement of current reporting and analysis processes.
  • Assisting in the production of external reports such as those provided to Banks and analysts.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and deep dives to offer detailed perspectives on business performance.

Qualifications

  • Part or Fully Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills – Advanced Excel
  • Ability to understand the interrelationships between key drivers and data across systems
  • Ability to extract and analyse multiple sources and large volumes of data
  • Demonstrable track record of providing value adding financial information to Sales, Marketing and/or Purchasing departments and senior management
  • Strong problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • A background in the industrials/manufacturing sector is desirable
  • Experience of or exposure to operating in an international environment is desirable

Additional Information

Reporting to the Finance function, we offer hybrid working (2 days in the office each week in Pangbourne, Berks) and an early finish at 3 pm on Fridays. You’ll be part of an inclusive, friendly, ambitious team that has achieved great results, making you part of a winning environment.
