Role Description
Reporting to the Group Finance Director you will be a key member of the Group finance team who’s primarily responsibility is overseeing the consolidated financial management, reporting and internal controls of the Group. This role has overall responsibility for the consolidated Group’s financial reporting cycle and control environment, as well as managing the ledgers and financial processes of selected Group entities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting expertise (IFRS), leadership capability and experience working across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
Role Responsibilities
Manage the Group’s annual reporting and audit cycle;
Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS;
Deliver quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements to ensure compliance with the Group’s loan agreement is maintained;
Oversee the Group’s financial control environment ensuring best practice standards are maintained and implemented where required;
Drive process improvements across the Group;
Manage the Group’s financial reporting team;
Work closely with component teams across the Group to ensure financial reporting inputs for the Group’s consolidated reporting are received in a consistent and timely manner;
Oversee the Group’s intercompany processes and reconciliations;
Manage the financial reporting requirements for selected Group entities;
Provide input as required to support annual budget cycle;
Be main point of contact for the Group’s tax team to support with financial reporting queries;
Support the CFO and Group Finance Director to deliver key objectives.

A finance function where objectives are achieved which are line with the long-term goals of the business.
Requirements
Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent);
Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience with at least 2 years in a group or senior financial controller role;
Strong knowledge of IFRS;
Prior experience of group consolidation processes is required;
Prior experience of a role in a multinational group that required working closely with colleagues in other regions of the business, including those in different time zones, is preferred;
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills;
Personal commitment to high quality work and able to demonstrate good attention to detail;
