Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.
Creative Services is responsible for the conception, design and production of creative projects, process improvements and programs from intake through delivery.
These projects support the Major Rugby business unit, a legacy supplier of multi-source, generic pharmaceuticals for over 60 years. Major Rugby provides over 1,000 high-quality, Rx, OTC and vitamin, mineral and supplement products to the acute, retail, government and consumer markets.
Job Summary
The Graphic Designer III of Creative Services is responsible for conceptualization, design, content development and execution of both digital and print promotional materials. This will require working cross-functionally to request and gather necessary information.
This role requires the ability to take creative direction from leadership and provide design solutions based on the parameters provided.
Responsibilities
- Design, content creation and layout execution of (digital and print) creative assets to support driving awareness of and loyalty with our organization and the products in which we sell across multiple business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) audiences.
- Support the development and on-going maintenance of brand guidelines.
- Create messaging and visual assets for social media (e.g., LinkedIn), post content, track metrics, and respond to user engagement.
- Proofread and submit content to Marketing and Legal for final approval.
- Maintain and update marketing, sales, and creative assets in content management systems (Website, Highspot, Salesforce).
- Assist with the procurement process for product images, including tracking images for new product launches/artwork revisions, reviewing image quality, and responding to internal/external requests for image files.
- Assist in maintenance of our Amazon product catalog. Requesting, tracking and delivering supporting internal assets.
- Respond to ad hoc requests and identify opportunities to streamline creative intake workflows.
Qualifications
- 4 - 6 years of experience, preferred.
- Applies judgment within defined parameters.
- Strong creative skills with proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign Illustrator, and Photoshop, but additional applications (e.g., video animation) would be a bonus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Teams.
- Strong copy-editing skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage a range of responsibilities and competing priorities while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Executes work in a timely manner, while maintaining high levels of communication with peers, leadership, and partners.
- Proficient in English (writing and speaking).
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
