As a Graduate Workday Sales and Marketing Consultant, you’ll join a supportive, collaborative environment where you’ll learn, grow, and make an impact from day one. You’ll rotate across four exciting areas of our business (three months in each), giving you hands-on experience and helping you discover what you love most.

What areas will you rotate amongst?

1. Marketing Magic

  • Help create campaigns that grab attention and generate leads.

  • Learn how to build a personal and business brand.

  • Get involved in webinars and live events that showcase our expertise.

2. Sales Development

  • Work with our SDR team to find new customers and start conversations.

  • Research prospects and use cutting-edge tools to understand their needs.

  • Reach out via calls, emails, video, and social media – real-world selling experience!

  • Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations to keep things moving.

  • Understand how we forecast revenue and make sure deals are rock solid.

Why join us?

  • Structured learning: Four rotations to build your skills and confidence.

  • Supportive culture: We share knowledge, celebrate success, and help each other grow.

  • Real impact: You’ll work on live projects that matter to our customers and our business.

What you’ll learn?

  • Assisting in market research – you will assist in gathering information about specific accounts, competitors, and technology trends.

  • Develop and create marketing content  including blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, and website copy.

  • Being an external Kainos ambassador – you will be expected to competently describe Kainos and its offerings at a high level to prospects during networking events. You will assist in formally presenting to prospects and customers in a manner that positions Kainos as a professional and market leading supplier.

  • Building Partnerships  you will support our technology partnerships by developing collateral which demonstrates the value Kainos can offer their client base and building relationships with key contacts.

  • Supporting the team on development and management of strategy, plans and budgets – you will assist in research, creation, and day-to-day delivery of marketing plans, ensuring delivery is on time and within budget.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all marketing materials align with company brand guidelines and messaging.

  • Monitor and track the performance of marketing content and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments to ensure our marketing efforts are relevant and effective.

Upon completion of the Early Careers Programme, you will have gained knowledge and skills to help transform the organisation and set you on the path to becoming the next generation of leaders at Kainos.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
