It's our responsibility to manage risk across the bank, ensuring we have the right culture, strategy, and rules in place. We also manage interactions with key regulators, providing trusted advice to the colleagues who serve our customers.
Your graduate journeyAs a graduate trainee Modelling Specialist in Risk, you get the best possible start to your career as we’ll equip you with the knowledge, skills, and experiences you’ll need to make a significant impact through your work.
Over the course of this two-year programme, you can expect to:

Entry requirementsTo be eligible for our Risk Modelling graduate programme, you’ll need:
- To have, or be on course to achieving a 2:1 in a STEM subject for your degree, preferably in a strong numerical discipline
- An interest and experience in using programming languages
- An understanding of statistical techniques, and how they are applied
- A growth mindset and passion for learning
- To be a keen problem solver
- Good analytical skills
- To enjoy collaborating and working as part of a team
- The ability to think strategically
