ABOUT THE TEAMAnduril is seeking a Government Accountant to join our dynamic, growing finance team located at our headquarters in either our Irvine, CA or Atlanta, GA office. ABOUT THE JOB
The Government Accountant will support ongoing processes to post job costing, facilitate monthly labor reconciliations, ensure compliance with FAR and DFARS requirements for labor and timekeeping, complete different types variance analyses, identify process improvements and much more in the growth of the company and Government Accounting team. We’re looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail, strong communication and problem solving skills, and is adept in Microsoft Office as well as system savvy.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Process job costing on a bi-weekly basis to properly allocate labor cost across individual project codes.
- Maintain timekeeping requirements and completion rates across timekeeping systems for both Salaried and Hourly employees.
- Facilitate monthly labor reconciliations and adjustments as part of month-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with FAR and DFARS requirements across all labor practices and timekeeping processes.
- Process regular analysis on labor cost vs. payroll cost to ensure full allocation of cost.
- Regularly review company labor and timekeeping policies to ensure accuracy.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis as needed.
- Identify and implement improvements on current processes and procedures.
- Add value for implementing and testing a new ERP system.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
- 2+ year(s) of accounting or finance experience (government or project accounting experience preferred).
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong job ownership and accountability .
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently through complex issues.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as being able to learn and pick up new systems easily.
- Oracle Cloud ERP or ERP implementation experience a plus.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
US Salary Range
$59,500—$89,250 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
