More about our mission and what we offer.
Job DescriptionWe're looking for an experienced Share Plans Analyst, based out of our London office, to drive operational excellence in administering our global share plans across 15+ countries.
In this role, you'll be a key member of our Global People team and an integral part of the Reward and Global Mobility team - a specialised group of stock, tax and reward experts. As an L5 professional, you'll be the go-to expert for stock plan administration, proactively identifying improvements and leading initiatives that have medium to long-term impact on Wise's success. Reporting to the Share Plans Manager, you'll own entire processes while mentoring junior team members.
You will help Wise achieve its mission by leveraging your complete understanding of equity compensation to resolve diverse problems creatively and proactively, with minimal input from your Lead.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Global Share Plans Analyst, you will be the operational expert and a key strategic partner for the management and evolution of Wise’s global share plans. You will own critical processes, drive automation and improvements, and provide deep analytical insight to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Own and optimise the end-to-end administration of Wise’s global share plans with Share Plans Manager. This includes leading the quarterly granting and vesting cycles, managing complex securities filings across multiple jurisdictions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies.
Act as the primary subject matter expert on share plan mechanics, taxation, and compliance. Provide authoritative guidance to the business on the impact of share plans for domestically and internationally mobile employees, including supporting complex inbound and outbound relocations. As well as making sure our securities law filings are compliant.
Drive strategic initiatives to automate, de-risk, and scale reward processes. Proactively identify and lead projects to enhance system functionality (e.g., with the PTech team), improve data integrity, and streamline operations, moving beyond execution to designing future-proof solutions.
Develop and deliver advanced training and communications. Elevate the understanding of share plans across the company by creating and leading sophisticated training sessions (e.g., for senior leadership, cross-functional partners) and developing clear, impactful communications.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on share plan administration, best practices, and problem-solving techniques.
Proactively analyse data to identify trends, forecast implications, and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership on plan performance, participant behaviour, and potential risks or opportunities.
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key external partners (legal, tax, brokers) and internal teams (Finance, Company Secretariat, Legal, People Partners), acting as a trusted consultant on all share plan matters.
This role will give you the opportunity to:
Become the undisputed go-to expert on a critical component of our reward package, shaping how we attract, retain, and reward Wisers on a global scale.
Lead and influence by taking ownership of complex, high-impact projects from conception to delivery, with the autonomy to make key decisions.
Mentor and develop others, strengthening the overall capability of the team and leaving a lasting impact on its success.
Solve novel and complex problems where precedent may not exist, crafting innovative solutions that are right for Wise's unique and growing needs.
A bit about you:
Extensive experience and deep technical expertise in global share plan administration (e.g., RSUs, ESPP), including a strong understanding of relevant securities laws, tax implications across multiple countries, and compliance requirements.
A proactive leader who operates with significant independence. You don't wait for direction; you identify what needs to be done and drive it forward, seeking input only when strategically necessary.
Demonstrated experience in process improvement and automation. You have a track record of not just running processes, but critically evaluating and redesigning them for greater efficiency, accuracy, and scale.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in Google Workspace/Microsoft Office (especially advanced Excel). You can interpret complex data, identify root causes of diverse problems, and devise effective solutions.
An exceptional mentor and communicator, able to build trust and explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences, from junior employees to senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
Unwavering attention to detail and a commitment to handling highly confidential information with the utmost professionalism.
You are a strategic thinker who understands how share plans fit into the broader business context and can anticipate future challenges and opportunities.
This is an opportunity for an experienced professional to own critical processes, drive innovation, and make lasting impact on Wise's equity compensation strategy while building expertise that positions you for future growth within our organisation.
