'The Global Process Owner - Strategize is responsible for defining and managing the global process and supporting systems for the STRATEGIZE step in the sourcing cycle. The role plays a key part in ensuring Procurement is equipped with reliable processes, tools, and data to develop effective sourcing strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
This includes overseeing the use of analytics platforms such as Sievo, aligning reporting and data needs, and enabling the use of market intelligence to support sourcing decisions. The position supports capability building and drives consistency and efficiency across categories and regions.
How you will contribute
You will:
1. Strategize Process Ownership
Own and govern the STRATEGIZE phase of the sourcing process globally.
Define, standardize, and continuously improve processes, procedures, and tools used across Procurement to support data-driven sourcing decisions.
Ensure effective use of market intelligence and data to support the development of sourcing strategies.
Lead benchmarking efforts to identify and apply best practices in procurement analytics.
2. Program and Tool Development
Drive the development and improvement of Sievo and related procurement systems.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and usability to support strategic needs across regions and categories.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across Procurement, Commercial, and Finance to align systems and tools with business needs.
3. Global Interface for Systems and Processes
Act as the global point of contact for systems and processes related to the STRATEGIZE step in sourcing.
Coordinate with regional and global stakeholders to ensure consistent deployment, adoption, and usage of tools and processes.
4. Coordinate Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with process stakeholders to align on priorities and system/process improvements.
Link functions across the enterprise to enable an integrated and aligned sourcing process.
Manage the interface with external partners related to data, systems, and market intelligence providers.
5. Share and Scale Leading Practices
Identify internal and external leading practices related to sourcing analytics and strategy development.
Support the implementation and scaling of proven solutions across the Procurement organization.
What you will bring:
Required:
Minimum 7 years of experience in Direct Procurement, including category strategy development and sourcing execution.
Hands-on experience with procurement analytics tools and data systems.
Solid understanding of process design
Preferred:
MBA + Procurement Professional Qualification
Sievo tool experience
People Management
Other Languages
Demonstrated ability to leverage market intelligence and data to support sourcing decisions.
