The Global Lifecycle Marketing Manager will strategize and optimize campaigns to increase growth for Square Loans, analyze data, and collaborate across teams for effective marketing initiatives.

The Role
We're looking for a creative and data-driven leader to join Square as a Global Lifecycle Marketing Manager working with Square Loans, Square's flagship lending product, that has now expanded into Australia, Canada, Japan, and the UK. The Lifecycle Manager will lead the strategy and monitoring of our Lifecycle channels to increase growth for Square Loans across all markets. You will partner across departments including product, product marketing, engineering, data science, marketing operations, and creative to improve growth for Square Loans. The Lifecycle Manager will have an emphasis on analyzing our marketing and product funnels, and creating an experimentation strategy to systematically improve performance across channels across all markets. You will also oversee execution and optimization of campaigns across email, in-product, and offline channels.
You will:
• Lead the brainstorming and execution of actionable strategies and campaigns that increase growth for our Square Loans business across the all markets (primarily the US, and scaling them to international markets when it makes sense), partnering with product, product marketing, engineering, data, creative, copy, channel managers, and marketing operations (by defining campaign requirements)
• Set ambitious growth and retention targets and develop quarterly growth strategies to meet them
• Analyze campaign data to identify and recommend new market segments and target audiences
• Have a holistic understanding of the entire funnel and extract insights from data and convert ideas into actionable strategies to expand Loans business
• Work with product managers, product marketers, engineers, and the entire Loans team to drive product growth
• Develop a cross-channel demand generation strategy including audience segmentation, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and optimization
• Create data-driven hypotheses for improving marketing performance, design and build A/B and multivariate tests, and apply knowledge of basic statistics (e.g. sample size, significance) to separate signal from noise
• Increase overall growth strategy from forecasting and planning-to resource allocation,
prioritization, campaign execution, optimization, and reporting
• Analyze findings, report on KPIs, and present recommendations to a broader group of
stakeholders and leadership, week over week to drive visibility around incremental funnel optimizations
You Have:
• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years of professional experience
• 3+ years in growth, product, consulting, banking, or other analytical roles
• Comfort leading initiatives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment
• Demonstrated tactical excellence in lifecycle or email marketing
• Excellent analytical skills with multivariate testing and marketing attribution experience
• Experience developing lifecycle marketing programs / CRM / engagement marketing programsthrough email, push notifications, sms, and/or in-app marketing
• Demonstrated track-record developing and executing A/B tests, analyzing and translating data intobusiness and consumer insights
• Experience with SQL is a huge plus (or willingness to learn SQL)
• Experience with Excel required
• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, ability to organize information in ahigh level way to communicate key points to stakeholders and leadership
• Experience with Iterable and Optimizely
