A background in engineering, computer science, mathematics, cryptography, finance, AI/ML, or other relevant technical or research-focused disciplines.
Hands-on experience building or supporting products, research, or infrastructure in Web3, DeFi, or Layer 1/L2 ecosystems.
Experience in one or more of the following research areas: protocol design, ZK systems, applied cryptography, DeFi, MEV, or governance mechanisms.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to collaborate across distributed, async teams.
A proactive mindset and ability to thrive in ambiguity, taking ownership and driving impact with minimal direction.
Passion for Ethereum, open-source software, and the long-term vision of decentralized networks.
Experience contributing to open-source projects (especially in Ethereum or related ecosystems).
Familiarity with Ethereum protocol internals, smart contract security, rollups, or cryptoeconomic design.
Understanding of decentralized governance, tokenomics, or on-chain data analysis.
Product thinking, systems design, or experience in technical project management.
AI/ML research or development experience, especially as applied in the crypto space.
Participation in hackathons, research competitions, or open-source projects within the Web3 or AI ecosystems.
Work on high-impact projects with top engineers, researchers, and builders in the Ethereum ecosystem.
