  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with kitchen-related vendors and the Stewarding department, including scheduling, service follow-up, and document handling.
  • Menu Data Entry & English Translation: Enter menu data into hotel systems and create English translations of menus.
  • Allergy Matrix Creation & Maintenance: Create and maintain the Allergy Matrix, keeping allergen information accurate and up to date as menus change.
  • Receiving & Purchasing Coordination: Coordinate with the Receiving and Purchasing Offices on orders, deliveries, and related documentation.
  • Administrative Support: Ensure accurate record-keeping and support daily Culinary operations, including department schedules, documents, and reports.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
