Job DescriptionFUNCTIONALITY ENGINEER (TUMBLE DRYERS)
As Functionality Engineer working in Electrolux R&D Tumble Dryer System Functionality team you will support the development of domestic tumble dryers at global level.
A typical day at work
You approach your responsibilities proactively and innovatively, with practical sense and operative attitude; you will define the drying cycles through performance testing at product level. As an independent professional you will support the implementation and optimization of drying functionalities, contributing the development of new projects and ensuring the achievement of technical targets and compliance with appropriate standards. You will use engineering and science-based approaches to draw conclusions and will prepare the required documentation.
In detail, you will be responsible for:
Understand product technical specifications in terms of functionalities and SW; support the introduction of new technologies and new drying functionalities in cooperation with the relevant departments
Support activities of senior functionality engineers in the Electrolux Tumble Dryer System Functionality team
Understand standard and customized testing procedures, timelines and deliverables related to assigned activities
Plan proper experimental campaign according to targets and expected results.
Prepare and discuss specifications on system functionality for SW developers
Design and execute tests on the application during all development stages, including setting up, test preparation, result analysis and documentation
Identify innovation opportunities on the product functionality and on the development process
Qualifications & Requirements:
Higher degree in Information /Automation /Controls /Electronics /Mechatronics/Electrics Engineering or equivalent
Strong ability in data analysis
Practical approach
Knowledge on signals treatment
Knowledge of software programming like C+, MatLab or Phyton is a plus
Team player. In this role cross-functional collaboration is fundamental
Solid on the scientific approach with a strong analytical attitude
English at intermediate level is mandatory
