The Crown Is Yours
As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a tight-knit and stable team that owns a specific area of our platform, from the UI to the database. The Daily Fantasy Sports team drives DraftKings' original product with year-round sports contests, focusing on innovation, scalability, and operational excellence. You will work alongside senior engineers who will help bring you up to speed, ensuring a smooth transition into your role. What you'll do as a Software Engineer

• Develop systems and APIs that power a rich set of applications used by a large and passionate group of users every day.
• Write clean, maintainable, and readable code while adhering to team coding quality standards. This includes writing different types of tests.
• Investigate problems of diverse scopes, identify, and resolve problems of different complexity.
• Care about agility as much as you care about scalability. We roll out products very quickly and are looking for a team that can pivot at a moment's notice.

What you'll bring

• At least 2 years of professional experience in .NET/C#, building robust and maintainable backend systems.
• Working knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
• Exposure to RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, cloud platforms, and CI/CD workflows is considered a plus.
• Proactive and growth-oriented mindset, with a strong desire to learn, take ownership, and tackle technical challenges with initiative.
• Collaborative mindset, a drive for continuous improvement, and openness to feedback
