About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to provide short-term, high-impact support to our People team and business leaders. This freelance role will deliver strategic HR partnership and operational excellence, helping to drive critical people initiatives, ensure compliance, and support leaders in managing organisational change.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing insight and counsel on workforce planning, team structures, talent strategies, and organisational change.
  • Support leadership teams in communicating and managing through change to maintain engagement and performance.
  • Partner with managers to proactively identify people risks and implement solutions that balance business objectives and employee experience.
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations within the assigned market or business area.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and alignment with local labor laws.
  • Manage sensitive ER matters, providing clear, legally compliant guidance to managers and employees.
  • Where relevant, lead consultations with works councils, trade unions, or other employee representatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with local data retention laws and GDPR requirements.
  • Drive or support key people projects such as reorganisations, cultural initiatives, or systems/process improvements.
  • Collaborate with regional HR teams and Centers of Excellence to ensure local needs are met.
About YouThe essentials:
  • Strong HRBP experience in fast-paced, international or matrix environments.
  • Expert knowledge of local employment laws and regulations, with a track record managing complex ER cases or consultations.
  • Change management experience 
  • Proven ability to advise and influence managers and leaders on strategic people decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism, with ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
