• Identify and apply AI-powered automation and intelligent tooling within financial systems to streamline workflows, reduce manual tasks, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Build and optimize system logic, workflows, integrations, and reports to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and enable intelligent automation using AI-enhanced tools where appropriate.

• Partner with business stakeholders to evaluate existing workflows, recommend improvements, and develop a roadmap for system enhancements, automation, and AI-enabled efficiencies.
• Lead technical implementation work across the full SDLC-from requirements gathering and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code, and contribute to code reviews and maintenance practices to ensure long-term system stability and quality.
• Implement and advocate for best practices in version control, testing, and release management to support a reliable development lifecycle.
• Facilitate UAT cycles, collaborating with business users to validate enhancements and ensure solutions meet functional and compliance requirements.
• Provide ongoing support for assigned systems, managing incidents, triaging requests, and resolving issues quickly to maintain high system performance.
• Own change management processes for supported platforms, including SOX-compliant documentation, JIRA tracking, and adherence to ITGC standards.
What You'll Bring:
• 7+ years of experience supporting and enhancing financial systems such as ERP, billing, procurement, or commissions platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Zuora, Coupa, SAP Commissions).
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and scripting languages such as Groovy, Java, or Python to support system configuration, integration, and automation.
• Familiarity with SAP Commissions configuration and rule logic (e.g., HANA queries, Groovy scripting).
• Understanding of Zuora and NetSuite data models and integration patterns.
• Exposure to SuiteScript (NetSuite) or other ERP-specific scripting and customization frameworks.
• Experience working with iPaaS platforms such as Workato or Boomi to build and maintain system integrations across finance applications.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered tools and automation to streamline financial operations-such as intelligent workflow routing, exception handling, and predictive insights.
• Familiarity with integrating AI assistants or conversational interfaces into financial systems to enhance user experience, automate responses, and reduce operational friction.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or contribute to full lifecycle implementations or major system enhancements.
• Comfortable working across multiple platforms, with a strong aptitude for learning new tools and understanding cross-system dependencies.
• Solid understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC), deployment processes, and best practices for quality assurance.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Effective communicator with the ability to document technical specifications, configurations, and customizations clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
