We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. This hands-on role involves managing all aspects of the finance function, supporting another group company, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders at both company and group levels. Job Description

Your Influential Mission: You Will…

  • Take on a hands-on role as the financial controller of the company, dealing with all aspects of the finance function.
  • Assist with the support and supervision of another group company.
  • Manage and oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including all operational finance and payment matters.
  • Prepare monthly financial packs with full analysis of expenditure.
  • Prepare reports for the internal management structure.
  • Collaborate with the sales teams to ensure income accuracy and provide sales analysis.
  • Assist with CAPEX and key stock purchasing.
  • Oversee stock management and provide an overview.
  • Handle import and export requirements.
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns for both the trading and local holding company.
  • Manage financial interactions with customers, suppliers, tax authorities, and external auditors.
  • Work collaboratively with all internal teams to ensure Finance effectively executes all responsibilities appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Accurately forecast costs for the year, updating each month with business developments.
  • Prepare yearly budgets in coordination with all relevant departments.
  • Prepare annual financial statements and manage the year-end audit process.
  • Use your experience to review and challenge existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, efficiencies, or automation possibilities.

Qualifications

Components for Success: You…

  • Hold an ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
  • Have the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent workstreams and meet all reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, while using common sense and initiative to provide working solutions to finance and business needs.
  • Possess the ability to manage a team and foster a positive working environment.
  • Take ownership and accountability for all relevant reporting needs.
  • Have the power to establish and grow strong working relationships with employees across all levels, teams, and departments.

  • Experience in the gambling industry.

Technology

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, with SAP being ideal.
  • Proficient in the use of usual MS products: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.
  • Experience with or quick to learn the use of PO and expense approval systems, BI reporting, and analysis tools.
