About the role
The FP&A and Business Operations Finance team is responsible for enterprise level planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and capital allocation. Team members in G&A Finance partner closely with business leaders in IT, CFO org, Legal, People & Places and cross-functionally with R&D, Sales & Marketing Finance teams. Members of this team possess excellent analytical, critical reasoning, interpersonal, communication, influencing and leadership skills and are passionate about both problem solving as well as building high quality repeatable processes that scale with our rapid growth. Our role extends beyond analyzing and reporting; we take pride in helping to design and implement solutions to the different challenges that can arise in our high growth environment.
What you'll do
- Be a thought partner to business leaders helping to resolve competing business priorities and determine optimal investment allocation by function.
- Prepare financial analysis, business insights and presentation materials for regular financial and business updates to G&A business leadership.
- Partner with accounting to support month-end close, flux review processes, and deliver high-quality financial reporting.
- Design, automate, and optimize flexible finance processes to meet the needs of a dynamic and fast-growing business environment.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support the company's growth initiatives.
- This role reports to the G&A Finance leader and does not have any direct reports.
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience
- Min. 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, total atleast 5 years of financial experience
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
- Prior financial analyst experience working in a tech multinational/ global company highly preferable
- Prior G&A finance/ finance business partner experience preferred, not mandatory
- Financial Modeling: High Proficiency with MS Excel and Google Sheets; ability to build thoughtful, complex and auditable financial model
- Communication: Clear, concise communicator; ability to synthesize complex data or business problems into actionable information to drive results
- Strong partnering capabilities, with the ability to influence business partners without direct authority and to appropriately push back when required.
- Versatility: Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, zooming in with good attention to detail while still keeping the big picture in mind
- Project Management: Results-oriented, self-starter, organized, team-focused, and a strong work ethic, leveraging relationships to ensure deadlines are met
- Tools & Systems: Proficiency with Enterprise Financial Planning Tools & Systems; experience with Anaplan, Netsuite, Workday a plus
