Job Description
The Finance Assistant will contribute to the function by carrying out a range of duties that include (but are not limited to):
- Manage the AR process from Invoice to Receipt and ensuring target debtor days outstanding are achieved.
- Management of bank reconciliations and accurate recording of cash payments and receipts.
- Review and preparation of journal entries as part of monthly cycle
- Assisting with management of the accounts payable process for our French and Australian entities
- Assistance with preparation of VAT returns and regular EU filings on a timely basis.
- Assistance with Preparation of management reports for stakeholders of the company.
- Review and preparation of reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
- Delivery of ad-hoc reporting requests, detailed account analysis and other duties as needed to support the monthly and quarterly close process.
- Assistance with Monthly Forecasting and Annual budget process.
- Support for wider team as and when required.
- Contribute to a working environment and culture, which encourages teamwork, positive energy, innovation and fun.
Qualifications
Essential Criteria:
- At least part qualified with a recognised accounting body
- Ability to demonstrate a good level of competence in Microsoft Excel and Accounting Systems
- Proven record of working to deadlines
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels in organisation
Desirable Criteria:
- Proficient in the French Language (verbal, reading, writing)
- At least 1 years of experience, working in an accounts environment, preferable in a large company
- Experience in using SAP
