Purpose 

A data-driven analyst role focused on delivering high-quality insights, dashboards, and performance reporting to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.

The Executive Data Analyst plays a critical role in transforming data into clear, actionable intelligence to support strategic and operational decision-making at executive and board level. The role operates within a governance and leadership environment, requiring confidence working with senior stakeholders, high standards of accuracy, discretion, and an understanding of board-level reporting expectations.

 

Responsibilities 

 

1.      Data Analytics & Reporting  

·        Design, build, and maintain executive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel.

·        Extract, analyse, and interpret data from multiple sources to support strategic decision-making.

·        Produce monthly KPI, performance, and trend reports tailored for executive and board audiences.

·        Translate complex data into clear visualisations, insights, and narrative summaries.

·        Ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of data used in executive reporting.

·        Support quarterly planning cycles through data analysis, forecasts, and performance reporting.

·        Continuously improve reporting frameworks, metrics, and dashboards based on business needs.

 

2.      Executive & Board-Level Engagement

·        Work closely with senior leadership and Board members to understand reporting requirements and priorities.

·        Prepare data-driven content for board packs and quarterly planning materials, ensuring clarity and relevance.

·        Coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders to support timely and accurate executive reporting.

·        Ensure information presented to the Board meets governance, confidentiality, and quality standards.

·        Provide support for board meetings and events where required, ensuring data and materials are available and accurate.

Qualifications and Experience 

 

Qualifications 

·        College degree in a quantitative, analytical, or related discipline.

 

Experience 

·        Proven experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or reporting-focused role.

·        Demonstrated experience producing executive-level dashboards, KPI reports, and insights.

·        Experience working with senior leadership or Board-level stakeholders, with an understanding of executive reporting expectations.

·        Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

·        Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

·        Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

·        Experience in multinational or cross-functional environments is highly desirable.

 

Skills, Knowledge, and Special Qualities 

·        Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI (dashboard design, visuals, data modelling and processing).

·        Strong Presentation skills – specifically PowerPoint.

·        Ability to understand business context and apply data to explain it.

·        Ability to clearly communicate insights to non-technical, senior audiences.

·        High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

·        Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet executive deadlines.

·        Proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to anticipate reporting needs.

·        Professional presence and confidence when engaging with executive and board-level stakeholders.

 

Measurements 

·        Quality, accuracy, and relevance of dashboards, reports, and analytical insights.

·        Timeliness and reliability of executive and board-level reporting.

·        Effectiveness of data visualisation and clarity of insights provided.

·        Stakeholder satisfaction with reporting and analytical support.

·        Smooth execution and support of requirements for executive and board level meetings.

·        Adherence to governance, confidentiality, and quality standards.
