Description
🏨 About Triptease

Triptease exists to make direct bookings the dominant revenue channel for hotels. Our platform helps hoteliers understand and influence the guest journey, driving better conversion and reducing reliance on OTAs. With thousands of hotels using Triptease around the world, we're growing fast—and our events are a key driver of that growth.

We run two flagship global summits, an expanding series of VIP micro-events (think intimate dinners and private roundtables), and have a strong presence at leading industry trade shows. Whether we’re hosting or walking the floor, we make sure every event we touch generates results, not just buzz.

💡 Why This Role?

We’re looking for an experienced Events Marketing Manager who gets how to drive pipeline, knows how to run an event end-to-end, and is confident enough to be the face of Triptease in front of hotel executives.

🎯 What You’ll Do

This is a high-impact, hands-on role. You’ll be the strategic operator behind our global events program and a key contributor to commercial outcomes, collaborating with our Head of Global Events.

  • Lead event execution across flagship summits, micro-events, and trade show participation—owning every detail from venue booking to speaker rehearsal.
  • Drive pipeline through unforgettable experiences. You’ll be accountable for making sure our events generate real commercial results, not just good vibes.
  • Collaborate across teams. You will work closely with marketing, product, sales, and customer success to maximise pre‑event targeting and post‑event follow-up.
  • Manage logistics from end to end: registration platforms, managing internal project tool, travel planning, run-of-show documents, collateral, booth design, and vendor coordination.
  • Deliver seamless speaker and content management—briefing, rehearsing, and prepping stakeholders to ensure we always show up sharp and on-brand.
  • Track and report event ROI—including pipeline influence, lead quality, spend efficiency, and lessons learned.
  • Own tools and systems like event websites, webinar tools, Slack, Notion, G‑Suite, and Figma to keep everything organised and on-track.
  • Travel globally to deliver in-market execution with excellence (UK, Europe, US, APAC).
💼 Working Style & Culture

You’ll report to the Head of Global Events. Here's what you can expect:

  • No micromanagement. You’ll get full autonomy and ownership.
  • Collaborative approach. We work together, not in silos.
  • Trust-based leadership. You’ll be judged on your output, not time spent.
  • Clear, direct communication. We don’t sugarcoat, and we expect the same.
  • Fast pace, high standards. We move quickly, but we don’t cut corners.
Requirements
✅ What We’re Looking For

You’ll thrive here if you're low-ego, proactive, and focused on outcomes over optics. We work fast, trust each other, and value clear communication over long check-ins.

Must-Haves
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • 3+ years experience in B2B event marketing, ideally in SaaS or a fast-paced technology company.
  • Strong fluency in event technology: webinar platforms, registration systems, Notion, Slack, G‑Suite, Figma.
  • Experience running content-heavy events—including speaker sourcing, presentation prep, and session rehearsals.
  • Track record of driving pipeline and revenue through events, not just attendance or brand exposure.
  • Great communicator—confident speaking with partners, execs, and stakeholders.
  • Results-focused, organised, and calm under pressure. You hit deadlines, juggle logistics, and keep things moving.
Bonus Points For
  • Hospitality or travel tech experience

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
