As an Events Coordinator, you will support the planning and execution of various marketing events, working with teams to ensure successful delivery while managing logistical requirements and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

How you’ll make an impact
As an Events Coordinator, you will help to deliver the UK events strategy in line with our strategic priorities, supporting our event managers and working collaboratively and cross-functionally to deliver event projects end-to-end.
You will be responsible for assisting the coordination and execution of our plans across the UK. You’ll have the ability to work on a range of projects, from small intimate workshops and meetings to our presence at large industry exhibitions and our flagship Xero events such as Xero Roadshow, Xero Awards and Xerocon.
You will be a self-starter, able to take initiative to support the team and offer ideas for improving projects and processes. Your attention to detail, willingness to learn and grow, and your passion for providing beautiful experiences for our customers and partners is key to our success.

What you’ll do
- Assist in the planning, coordination and production of a range of marketing events – large and small to a variety of different audiences
- Understand the objective of each individual event and how it links to our strategy. Understand what the event needs to achieve, why, how and track achievement towards those goals
- Support end-to-end event execution.
- Become an expert in the team on our systems used to promote events, manage guest registrations, reporting and processes
- Work with other internal departments around event marketing, operational support and logistical requirementsManage event inboxes and related queries
- Manage event-related web pages and other event tech
- Take responsibility for cost tracking and reporting, raise POs and receipts within Xero’s payment system as needed, and follow up on payment queries
- Build relationships with suppliers and delivery partners.
- Support the post-implementation review of each event with key learnings, ROI, attendee follow-up etc.
- Manage ad-hoc marketing administration requests as directed

- Ability to travel for events (UK-only)
- Passion for events and desire to contribute as a member of a dynamic team. Enthusiastic with your ideas and open to others’ ideas and perspectives
- Confident to manage new projects and seek out the best way to accomplish the desired end result
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, to a deadline and within budget
- Working both as a team and independently and developing your own workflows to meet deadlines and manage priorities
- Marketing degree or experience a strong asset
